So, I Google'd myself today. I was particularly drawn to a post I made some years ago to the Linux Kernel Mailing List. I used to be one intemperate jerk at times. That was about 11 years ago. I've changed a lot and become a lot more accepting of things.
It's funny. I use a Mac now. I'm very happy with my Mac. (Some might say I love my Mac.) I do miss the boot up messages, but honestly I'd only see them a few times a year anyway. Not like it's a big deal. I guess there also there to be seen by holding some key at boot up.
It's nice to be mellowing as I get older, rather than becoming a curmudgeon. (Although some might dispute that self evaluation.)
