What a busy week I've had.
Mark showed up late last night as I briefly awoke. Rachel's been here all week, and I've been back and forth working every other day. When I'm not at work (and dropping food on the floor - today was yogurt, a piece of Luna Bar, some cottage cheese, and just now some of my dinner) we've been working really hard at being crafty. I, too, was also spending much time praying to the God of Printers as I babysat said printer.
Rachel and I had such a great time all week. We hadn't spend time together since perhaps this past summer when I went to visit. I know I can tend to run at the mouth, and without fail the two of us talked late into the night each night.
I dropped Rachel off at the bus station this morning on my way to work. Our friend Bre came to visit yesterday with rubber stamps, ink pads, and EMBOSSING STUFF. Oooooh. I never thought I'd have so much fun. Oh wait, wasn't I the one downstairs wrestling with the printer? Right. Despite that, I did get to play a little with stamps.
It has been a really delicious week. On Monday, Leslie came to visit, and the three of us made really tasty turkey-cranberry stew. Needless to say it's been a very busy week and I'm looking forward to my shower and an earlier bed tonight. Mark's off at lodge tonight, and so I guess we'll really be checking in with each other tomorrow morning. Happy day. And I wonder if there's a yoga class I can take tomorrow, since I missed last night's yoga.
