Tonight on my way out of work i passed by the club Valentine's on New Scotland Ave. So not my thing, but anyway. There were TONS of punk-rocker guys in black and chains and MANY, many MANY with mohawks. I don't know why, but this makes me think of my friend Jeri, who got married the first Sat this month. I call her up and leave a message as I see MORE guys with mohawks walking towards Valentine's:
"Hey Jeri, haven't seen you in a while, i know you got married a few weeks ago, how is everything, I thought of you as I passed valentine's on my way home seeing all the punk rockers with their mohawks, I know you're into the music scene and everything and might know what's going on :D :D"
Itzhak Perlman is coming to town, Thursday, May 31st!
Unfortunately, Mark will be OUT of town at that time, so I'm looking for a companion as I get out of work at 7pm that night.
A Special Concert co-sponsored by The Palace Theatre featuring
BEETHOVEN: Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 61, Itzhak Perlman, Violin
YARNELL: Yosemite and the Range of Light (World Premiere)*
STRAVINSKY: The Firebird Suite (1919)
So I've been working on one or two blog posts, but haven't put anything together.
Tonight Mark showed me some great talent showcased on Digg.com and they were good enough to pass on to you:
Cute Ventriloquist, who happens to be Phenomenally Funny

Aaaaah. Yoga. Chest-openers by golly.
I feel soooo good. And I met a fellow AMC employee/dancer/photographer/Trojan tonight at yoga. Excellent.
Many things were planned and executed today, that feels good too. And lasagna is a fantastic meal. With salad, or broccoli, or the fantastic camembert (and water crackers) from the Farmer's Market.
Finished Blink, and I've actually picked up "A Short History of Nearly Everything". Yum. I had started reading this on the way to Utah, but couldn't finish because on the way back, we ended up on the bike! Whoops. No more reading.
It's January, I'm not sick anymore, and I just had a three-day weekend and spent all day Saturday lindyhopping!! I took a workshop on lindy-blues and one on aerials with my friends Adam and Camille! Wowwee!
And Mark and I went dancing Saturday night and there were many people out and many wonderful dances to be had to the live band (Solomon Douglas Quartet). I enjoyed myself tremendously.
Off topic, the weather's been oddly warm - 70+ degrees out - and our heat never came on, so Saturday night we spent freezing. Then the heat got turned up Sunday night because no one else's heat came on either, and we sweated all night at 70+ degrees.
Tim's been over hanging out several times in the last week and a half...doing research for his paper and helping make delicious food. I'm going to miss him when he's gone this summer!
Tomorrow I go back to work so it's time for bed. Ciao bella.
